The standard flow rate for the LIQUIDRed Basin Mixer is approximately 8 litres per minute. If you want to reduce water consumption even further, you could order a water-saving aerator as an optional extra which reduces the flow rate to approximately half to 4.5 litres per minute.

Make sure that the braided connectors have not been twisted and also that they are free of tension. If there is tension, then a longer length braided connector would need to be used. Also check the seals to make sure they are not damaged and if they are, then they would need to be replaced.

Check the aerator, if there is dirt in the aerator then it is a possibility that the water pipes have not been flushed properly during installation and it is also possible that the cartridge has been damaged. If there is dirt or soil present in the aerator, remove it and clean it. Also check the cartridge by removing it and rinsing it with water, then re-sit the cartridge correctly. If it continues to leak, then replace the cartridge.

Low flow rate could be caused typically by dirt clogged in the aerator. You will need to remove the aerator and clean it in order to restore the water flow. Also check the angle valves have been opened fully and check the overall water pressure in your home.

We stock 110mm and 210mm high Basin Mixers. The 210mm is used for a counter-top basin where the Mixer would be installed on the counter-top. Whereas the 110mm Mixer would be installed on the basin.

The hot and cold braided connectors have been swopped around. Shut off the water at the angle valves and swop over the braided connectors.

The Shower Mixer with Diverter is used in conjunction with the Hand Shower. If you are not using a Hand Shower, then you can opt for the standard Shower Mixer.

Lime scale build up over the tiny rubber holes could cause low water pressure. To clean the shower rose, simply run your finger over the rubber holes with the water running to loosen the lime scale which should just fall away. Also check the water pressure in your home.
